| Description: | This position reports to the Manager of Student Services and will be responsible for providing high quality instruction and support to Career Step students and graduates from enrollment through successful placement. The ideal candidate will analyze and implement improvements to training materials, processes and resources and develop and implement new processes and materials to increase training completion and final exam success rates. |
| Duties: | - Providing educational, mentoring and resource information to students of the Medical Coding & Billing training program via proactive and reactive correspondence.
- Actively monitors the quality of the Medical Coding training program to implement curriculum updates as necessary.
- Development of additional and supplemental curriculum and training materials. |
| Qualifications: | The ideal candidate will have formal medical coding training (Bachelor's degree and RHIT/RHIA required), a minimum of 2-3 years' work experience in the medical coding field, and experience as an instructor, trainer, or mentor for medical coders. Additionally, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are required. |
